Rico Elmore is the Gun Owners’ Choice Candidate for House District 16
I am delighted to endorse Rico Elmore for State Representative in PA House District 16.
Rico is a dedicated warrior and public servant. He currently serves as a Technical Sergeant in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. And when he’s not protecting our nation as its sentry and avenger, he serves on the Rochester Borough Council.
Rico is running against the anti-gun Democrat incumbent, Robert Matzie. Representative Matzie voted against Constitutional Carry (SB 565) and also was opposed to
the constitutional amendment to restrict Governor Wolf’s tyrannical powers. Matzie also voted to restrict the due process rights of gun owners by supporting HB 2060 in 2018.
Unlike the incumbent, Rico Elmore will support your God-given rights without compromise. He scored a perfect 100% on GOA’s 2022 candidate survey, and that’s not easy to do.
But don’t take my word for it. Here is what Rico has to say in his own words about your constitutionally-protected rights:
The Second Amendment is to protect individuals from potentially dangerous central and state governments. This right has been challenged and taken apart many times. This is a right written as clear as day. “It shall not be infringed”. I stand for the Rights of every US Citizen and will fight to protect them in the future.

For all of these reasons, Gun Owners of America endorses Rico Elmore for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 16th House district.
