Carmela Ciliberti is the Gun Owners’ Choice Candidate for HD 13
I am delighted to endorse Carmela Ciliberti for State Representative in PA House District 13.
The incumbent, Rep. John Lawrence, voted for an anti-gun bill that became law in 2018.
HB 2060 expanded the loss of gun rights by “mandating” the relinquishment of ALL firearms, other weapons, and all ammunition – when a “permanent” protection from abuse (PFA) order is issued – “WITHIN” 24 hours or face prosecution.
That’s why we need to send Carmela Ciliberti to Harrisburg to clean house! HB 2060 was vigorously opposed by GOA (you can read our alert about it here). The only reason it passed is that weak Republicans, like John Lawrence, followed the wishes of the RINO House leadership and voted for it like blind sheep. Then, to make matters worse, they celebrated it like a holiday.
Carmela Ciliberti won’t sell you out when the House leadership asks for politically expedient anti-gun votes. In fact, Carmela called out John Lawrence publicly for his vote on HB 2060. You can read it here.
Carmela graduated from Lancaster Bible College and then from law school at Villanova University. She is a certified pistol instructor and a strong advocate for your God-given rights.
Carmela scored 100% on GOA’s candidate survey, which serves as a “contract” for our members. Furthermore, we institute a rigorous evaluation process including a careful review of a candidate’s positions and public statements. Carmela excelled in all points in our candidate evaluation.

Our God-given rights are meaningless if we are not alive to enjoy them. Bearing arms to thwart evil protects our life, freedom, property, and happiness. Pennsylvania’s Constitution (and 15 years later the 2nd Amendment) affirms this truism declaring the citizens’ right to bear arms in self-defense without question.
For all of these reasons, GOA is endorsing Carmela Ciliberti for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 13th district.
So, in the April 23rd Republican primary, vote for Carmela Ciliberti and be sure to support her campaign.
