Gun Owners Lobby Day

Let’s Move Pro-Gun Bills in the PA Senate

Now is the time for gun owners to stand up and make their voices heard in Harrisburg–in person!

Gun Owners of America will hold its first Gun Owners Lobby Day (G.O.L.D.) on Monday, September 20th at 9:30 AM. This will be an organized event where you will meet with your Pennsylvania state senator and Republican leadership to let them know that we expect them to move pro-gun legislation.

There is a lot on the table right now, and it is all coming down to the Pennsylvania Senate and Republican leadership to ACT to support your Article 1, Section 21 rights.

We’ll be walking the halls for these three bills:

  • SB 565 (Dush) — Constitutional Carry. This bill was reported by the Senate Judiciary Committee right before the summer break in July. We want a floor vote in the Senate as soon as possible. Once passed, it will move to the House where House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff (R-171) has promised to bring it up for a vote. Let’s hold him to that promise by giving him the Senate bill.
  • SB 624 (Mastriano) — Right to Bear Arms Protection Act. The bill is currently stuck in the Senate State Government Committee chaired by Senator Dave Argall (R-29).
  • HB 979 (Dowling) — Strengthen Preemption. The bill passed the House and is sitting in the Senate Judiciary Committee awaiting action.

This isn’t a rally. It’s a workday where we roll up our sleeves and walk the halls of the PA Capitol.

So, please click the image above to register for the lobby day. Once you are signed up for the G.O.L.D., you will later be matched with appointments with your Pennsylvania state senator and Republican leadership.

Accommodations, travel details, and other valuable information are provided on the registration page.
