GOA-Endorsed Candidates Sweep Primary Elections Across PA
I have some very good news for gun owners!
GOA endorsed and recommended candidates swept the Pennsylvania primaries, ensuring that pro-gun legislators will be heading into the general election on November 3rd.
Here is a summary of results from yesterday’e election:
Governor and Lieutenant Governor Elections
GOA-endorsed candidates Stacy Garrity and Jason Richey won their respective primaries for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, respectively.
Both will advance to the general election where they will be running against anti-gun Governor Josh Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis.
Special Election–House District 196
GOA-endorsed candidate, George Margetas, defeated anti-gun Democrat Ron Runman by 12 percentage points, stopping the Philadelphia Democrat machine from widening their narrow one-vote margin in the Pennsylvania House.
Margetas will face off against Runman again in the general election since this was also the primary for HD 196.
State Senate
All of the GOA-endorsed candidates won their state senate races:
- SD 16: Jarret Coleman
- SD 18: Scott Janney
- SD 24: Tracy Pennycuick
- SD 28: Kristin Philips-Hill
- SD 34: Greg Rothman
- SD 36: Tom Jones
- SD 46: Camera Bartolotta
- SD 48: Chris Gebhard
State House
100% of GOA endorsed and recommended candidates swept all House races. Here are the highlights from the contested primaries:
- HD 12: GOA member and recommended candidate Scott Timko edged out Ethan Nicholas.
- HD 88: GOA member and recommended candidate Jeff Clark narrowly defeated Savannah Martin.
- HD 98: GOA endorsed candidate Nicky Woods defeated Danielle Lindemuth.
- HD 100: Two-time, GOA endorsed candidate Dave Nissley defeated Bryan Cutler lackey, Kelly Osborne.
- HD 117: GOA endorsed candidate Jamie Walsh defeated Bill Jones.
- HD 130: GOA endorsed Melissa Brewer defeated Mitch Micale, continuing retiring State Representative Dave Maloney’s pro-gun legacy.
General Election
While the primary results are good news for gun owners, the battle is far from over. The real fight will be the general election.
Anti-gun Democrats only need to win two PA Senate seats to flip the chamber. If that happens, Pennsylvania will be the next Virginia when it comes to your God-given rights.
Philadelphia Democrats currently control the House by only ONE vote. Bloomberg and his minions will spend megabucks to defend that seat and fund anti-gun candidates elsewhere to expand that margin.
Your constitutionally protected rights literally hang in balance in 2026. All Pennsylvania gun owners must wake up and VOTE in the general election on November 3rd.
