In the race for Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, there is only ONE clear choice and that is Tony Moreno.
GOA endorsed Tony four years ago and I am delighted that he’s running again in 2025. Tony will be facing off against former Pittsburgh City Councilman and current County Controller, Corey O’Connor.
Corey O’Connor is no friend of gun owners. To refresh your memory, after the horrific Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, O’Connor was a primary sponsor of the city’s unlawful attempt to ban semi-automatic rifles.
O’Connor and the Pittsburgh City Council blatantly violated Pennsylvania’s firearms preemption law by passing a trio of gun control ordinances that were subsequently overturned in court.
That’s why Steel City gun owners must unite behind Tony Moreno to defeat gun-grabbing Corey O’Connor.
Tony is a US Army combat veteran and a retired Pittsburgh police officer. Tony knows and loves Pittsburgh deeply. As the “Real Steel Mayor” candidate, Tony will reverse the disastrous policies of Mayor Ed Gainey and protect your God-given rights.
Here’s what Tony has to say about the importance of your right to keep and bear arms:
“Shall not be infringed“ is very clear. There is no alternate interpretation. I stand by my oath to the country and to my city to protect the state and federal constitution. The enforcement of laws that address violent crime is where my focus will be. I want to protect everyone’s rights, not spend tax dollars trying to take them away.
Friend, you may not know that I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I believe it is the greatest city in America. I get angry when I think about Corey O’Connor becoming the next mayor. We cannot let that happen.
But Tony Moreno hasn’t forgotten what Pittsburgh is about. He stands for the hard-working, moral people who literally built America.
That is why Gun Owners of America is backing the “Real Steel Mayor,” Tony Moreno, for Mayor of Pittsburgh. If you haven’t done so already, please volunteer and support his campaign.
So, in the November 4th general election, vote for GOA-endorsed Tony Moreno.
