I am delighted to endorse Therese Hollen for State Representative in House District 82.

Gun owners in the 82nd have been oppressed by freshman Democrat, Rep. Paul Takac, who has a 0% “F” rating from GOA. Takac voted for EVERY gun control proposal advanced by anti-gun Democrat Speaker Joanna McClinton, including Red Flag Gun Confiscation orders, Universal Registration Checks, bans on homemade firearms, mandatory reporting of lost and stolen firearms, and a bump stock ban.

That’s why we need to send GOA member Therese Hollen to Harrisburg. Therese scored a perfect, 100% on her GOA candidate survey, assuring gun owners that she will defend and ADVANCE our constitutionally-protected rights.

Therese doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk. She is a competitive marksman and isn’t afraid to talk about her support for our Article 1, Section 21 rights publicly.

I interviewed Therese and know that she will stand with gun owners. Here is what she has to say in her own words about our God-given rights:

“The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.”

I will defend this position vigorously. In addition, I believe our First Amendment rights as U.S. Citizens have stood the test of time because our Second Amendment is in place.

For all these reasons, GOA is endorsing Therese Hollen for State Representative in House District 82.
