George Margetas is the Gun Owners’ Choice Candidate for HD 196

I am proud to once again endorse Representative George Margetas for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 196th House District.

While George successfully won the May 19th special election to fill this seat, our job is far from finished. On November 3rd, George is facing off against his Democrat opponent, Ron Ruman, once again.

With razor-thin margins in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, gun owners cannot ignore this election. We cannot afford to lose a single pro-gun vote in Harrisburg—which is why we must turn out and vote to secure a decisive victory.

George is a lifelong resident of York County who has dedicated his life to serving his neighbors. Before being elected to the state House, George served for 12 years on the West York School Board and as a West Manchester Township Supervisor. He is a local leader who understands York County’s conservative values because he has lived them his entire life.

George Margetas is not a squish who will compromise on your Article I, Section 21 rights. He earned a perfect 100% score on his GOA candidate survey, and he has already proven in Harrisburg that he stands firmly with gun owners to defend our constitutionally protected freedoms.

In George’s own words, here is his uncompromising stance on our right to keep and bear arms:

“I don’t think the 2nd Amendment is malleable or should be infringed in any situation. We fought a War of Independence to free us from the tyranny of the king. I think our Founding Fathers would be disappointed to see the 2nd Amendment trampled. We have been free and dominant in the world because no one dared attack us out of fear of our armed citizens.”

George’s opponent represents the radical, anti-gun agenda that wants to see your rights eroded. With the future of Pennsylvania’s gun laws hanging in the balance, York County gun owners must unite to defeat the gun-grabbers and keep this seat in pro-freedom hands.
