Update: Success! Blair Township Tabled the Illegal Ordinance on June 10, 2025

Location: Municipal Building, 375 Cedarcrest Drive, Duncansville, PA 16635.

This ordinance seeks to regulate the discharge of firearms within the township, which is a clear violation of Pennsylvania’s firearms preemption law (Pa.C.S.Title 18 §6120).

Gun Owners of America’s legal counsel wrote an opinion letter to the Blair Township solicitor detailing the reasons why the ordinance violates state law. You can use the arguments in the letter when you speak.
